Pain In The Butt!
But worth it, for sure! looks good & works good. I don't know how anyone, could get it on with out pulling the manifold and tgv's off the block?
Good bang for the buck
Bought this inlet after my OEM ripped during a turbo upgrade. You can install it with the intake manifold loosened but it's probably going to be easier to install without the manifold on. Great looking/performing product for a great price. Would recommend this product to anyone looking for some increased air flow or upgrading some cheap OEM rubber.
looks excellent, and easy to install, (when the intake manifold is off!);
I cant really say how hard it would be to install with the manifold on as i already had mine off, I imagine it wouldnt be very easy but then neither is the stock one if the manifold is on.

I bought this while i was building my motor (So i didn't have to deal with the pain of installing it with the manifold on.)
I also had perrin fuel rails installed with 3/8's with fireproof insulation hose running underneath it, This wouldn't have been possible if it was the stock plastic turbo inlet. (which commonly fail at the turbo side.)
Good product, just as good as any of the other bigger brand turbo inlet's Never had an issue with this one. (stock VF39, and 17PSI)
Gains? Arguably, I can tell you for sure it would make sense why you would gain from this vs the stock one.
I also recommend a T-Bolt style clamp. I had troubles with the screw-type. (when hot to cold the silicon expanded and slid a little on the turbo, just to be safe added T-bolt)
4 star because it did not include the BOV recirc plug. (I was running Atmospheric, used a bolt-expand plug used for plumbing bought from a local auto-parts store. which worked great.)
