Are you upgrading to a bigger turbo? Planning to run E85? Maybe both? Well, you will have to upgrade your fuel pump then. When installing a bigger turbo and injectors you will have to get a higher flowing fuel pump to satisfy the increased demand for fuel.

Newer Subarus ( 05+ legacy and 08+ wrx/sti) use an enclosed fuel assembly. To install a higher flowing fuel pump you have to remove the assembly and drastically modify the housing, which involves grinding and cutting. If this modification done improperly it can cause leaks and irregular fuel delivery which in turn can cause lean conditions under boost. IIR fuel pump assembly is professionally modified with proper tools and proper size o-ring is used to fit the larger walbro( some use two oem o-rings which causes leaks and improper sealing). This fuel pump assembly is 100% plug and play: remove your old pump and swap this one in, no cutting, grinding or ruining your stock fuel pump.
