The APS WRX & STI smooth bore cast aluminum cold air intake system (CAI) and air filter delivers a huge volume of cold air to the turbocharger for maximum engine performance. APS's cold air intake system is a great way to improve air flow, sound, and performance in your WRX or STI. Unlike short rams, which source hot air from under the hood, the APS cold air intake system breathes cool air from the inner guard for the optimum engine performance and durability. More importantly, the air through the APS WRX & STI high flow air intake system is consistent in temperature. This means that the engine management unit's temperature compensation system operates correctly - unlike devices that source air from the highly turbulent areas under bonnet.

The APS WRX & STI cold air intake is available in two versions: 65mm piping diameter for stock ECU applications, and 70mm for high horsepower applications that need more MAF resolution. Please note that the 70mm APS cold air intake requires ECU tuning. The APS intake includes all necessary installation hardware and detailed instructions for simple, bolt-on installation.
