This kit is setup with special 2D mapping specific for vehicles that are having heatsoak problems on the track. The picture shows our trunkmount tank, to order it as the picture shows choose ""trunkmount tank"" from the dropdown box. If you have your own tank, just choose ""no tank"". The trunkmount tank is 1.5 gallons, dimensions are 8 inches high, 8 wide and 11 inches long. How does this work? Our vari-cool controller will inject using a 2D map with both boost and Air temp. Included is a special air temp sender (1/8th NPT). The beauty of this kit is that it is plug and play from us, you can however fine tune or change the settings with your laptop. The knobs on the vari-cool will be labeled from 1-30 on the MIN and MAX and 1-10 on the tune. You will set the starting boost (MIN) and Max boost (MAX) setting. The intake temps will be programmed using our software. By default (unless otherwise specified) the settings will be 90F on the MIN and 140F on the max. Using this setting, your vehicle will need to be at your MIN boost setting AND 90F before it will inject. From that point it will create a 2D map giving both boost and air temp a 50% curve. You will need to be at full boost and full temp before you are at full flow. This allows you to not use alot of water unless you are heat soaked and only gives you flow when you need it. You can set the following in the sofware: # Starting Temp # Full temp (upto 500F) # Weighted percent. If you set the 50 to be the weighted percent that would mean boost and Air temp are equal. If for example you set air to 75, that would mean boost is 25 and any change in air temp has 3 times the weight of boost.
