The Perrin master cylinder support brace provides the much needed support for the master cylinder and brake booster that the stock setup just can't provide. When you place force against the pedal the brake booster and master cylinder acctually bend away from the you. The sheet metal that these parts are bolted to just can't prevent movement and over time can fatigue to the point of failure. Perrin designers devised a simple plan to fix this problem- an easy to install and inexpensive brace cut from 6061 aluminum that bolts to the driver side shock tower. With the Perrin brace you are placing tension on the master cylinder opposite the brake pedal, completely eliminating this pendulum like motion. The firmed up pedal feel without any risk of damage to the fire wall makes this brace such a popular upgrade.
