Boomba Torque Dampers are designed to eliminate wheel hop and improve the vehicle stability. They allow the wheels to gain better tractions and improve acceleration. They eliminate 100% of wheel hop but transfer more vibration to the car body (comparing to Boomba Driver Passenger Motor Mounts). Installation is simple and does not require engine support.
They are machined of lightweight, aircraft quality aluminum with solid polyurethane bushings. The polyurethane hardness is carefully chosen so the engine mounts do not transfer any excessive vibrations to the body but give you very solid feeling during acceleration. Motor mounts are direct replacement of the factory top dog bone mount, bottom dog bone mount and front mount. They use the same hardware. My car had 173000 mile OEM mounts so these totally changed how the car feels. Everything is more responsive with throttle and shifting. There was extra vibration for about 300 miles but now I can hardly even feel it during normal driving. They are high quality mounts for the price cant beat it.

Installed these mounts with other upgrades on 09’ civic si. They were easy to install and look great but beware! The vibrations during acceleration are significant! My car has 105k and sounds and feels like a rattle trap now.. In my opinion these are more geared for racing not a daily.. they are in so I’m stuck with them but if I knew how much vibration would be transferred I might not have bought them. I guess any lady who rides with you should have a uplifting experience..😉 So just wanted to voice this as I’ve seen the you tube videos and people I think are minimizing the vibrations. Your choice.
Good product but was shipped later than was originally posted
For the price they are great. The boomba are a little stiffer then the previous hasports I had in the car. The hasports are a 70a bushing and the boomba are 80a bushing so a little stiffer. Very easy install. I’ll post a picture showing the difference from stock to boomba.
I installed these on my supercharged 2006 Si and it made a huge difference. No more clunk when accelerating. Best $240 I’ve spent for this car.
