The EBC 3GD Series Sport Rotors are a performance oriented type of rotor designed for high-performance vehicles that need the cooling capabilities for track use or spirited driving conditions. On the surface of the rotor, you will see that it has been designed with both a drilled and slotted pattern. The dimple drilled holes absorb both heat and pad dust and repel them through the veins of the rotor, while the slots wipe the surface of the pad clean to provide an optimal contact patch under braking while additionally repelling heat and dust. EBC was an innovator of dimple drilling because this method allows the rotor to allow the pad to degassing without "through drilling" found in other drilled rotor designs which promotes cracking

The GD Series rotors are manufactured in both the U.K. and the USA where they are fabricated under strict manufacturing methods and inspected to exact tolerances before getting the green light for customer acquisition.

These particular rotors are made for the front location, and they will be sold as a pair.

Much better than stock

After 65k miles I decided to go with a slightly upgraded brake system for my '17 wrx. IIR shipped this kit with the hawk 5.0 pads to my house super quick. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because I had to go to a different site to get a set of matching rear rotors. 3 months in and these brakes are treating me well, not too dusty, rotors havent rusted a bit because of the coating and they're relatively low noise for a slotted and dimpled set. Good choice for me!
