The turbo inlet appears to be well made - my only gripe is that the BPV connection could have been made longer to get more clamping length. Be warned, on the '05 this is a very tight fit. I already had the manifold off for other work and while it helped I just couldn't imagine snacking this through. Because of the fuel lines and geometry of the intake manifold, the turbo inlet approaches the turbo at a slight downward angle. However, there should still exist enough of the inlet on the turbo opening to get a good clamp. Additionally, the inlet can only be clocked (CCW look at the engine from the front) so far due to a vacuum port. As a result, the BPV hose connection is angled slightly downward which can be tricky. Either way, the piece is well made and should be good to go once the car is back together.

I bought this after having a hard time with another turbo inlet install. This perrin one went in with absolutely no problem. And the best part is you don't have to modify it to fit! It replaced the factory inlet and I gained a little bit of turbo noise. The throttle response and boost lag seem to have improved slightly but noticeable since install. Great purchase and great customer service as always.

Not fun to install but once in fits and looks nice. Lots better then the stock STI inlet pipe.

Works great and functions a lot better than the oem one. A little bit of a challenge to install without TGV deletes but definitely still possible.

My stock turbo inlet actually buckled some where it connects to the intake and I wanted something stronger to prevent that in the future this perrin inlet is great quality and looks great!

Great quality and durability. Once i removed the old stock intake this slipped right in after lightly twisting it and all i had to do was clamp it. seen too many videos of people doing it in over 3 hours. it took me 10 mins total to install and this is my first time doing it.
