Alpha Series Rods are forged from select 4340 chromoly steel and feature a straight H-beam design. This design provides more surface area to distribute stress around and provide more support compared to tapered rods. Skunk2 Alpha rods are heat-treated, tempered, and shot-peened to keep each rod consistent and strong. Every set of Alpha rods feature ARP2000 rod bolts and dual oil passages at the pin end to maximize durability. Every rod is also magna-fluxed to ensure the quality and integrity of the rod. Capable of holding over 900hp, the Alpha rod will accommodate whatever you can throw at them!
