Part #: 13199AA000Subaru Cam Gear Bolt Fits All AVCS Intake & Exhaust Cam Sprockets. The Subaru cam bolt can be damaged during a timing belt service and may require replacement. Subaru cam bolt part#13199AA000 is used to secure the cam sprocket to the AVCS intake cams found on 2006-14 WRX, 2004-16 STI, 2005-12 Legacy GT and 2004-13 Forester XT. It is also used to secure the AVCS exhaust cam sprockets found on the 2008-16 STI.

After having a bearing failure don’t forget the avcs bolts oil passes through these. It’s a cheap and safe way to prevent getting a stripped bolt after a cam upgrade as well.

It could have been just me, but i ordered these as a pair and found that the bolt was too long for the exhaust cam gear. I could have used a washer or two but I mainly was going to replace the regular hex head bolts that i used. Ended up not using them because I was going to use it with a cam locking tool that fit inside the bolt heads. Like I said this could have been an issue on my part. They appeared to be oem and in great shape.
