The Competition Clutch Stage 2 Street Series clutch kit provides an estimated 80% increase in torque capacity and is properly suited for aggressive street use and moderate track use. The Carbon Kevlar material with its alloy backing matched to a performance pressure plate will provide smooth engagement and extended life. A minimum 300 mile break-in is required for proper functionality with this set-up but Competition Clutch highly recommends a 500 mile break-in to achieve the best performance. The 2100 Series kit includes a performance pressure plate, a high torque sprung disc with anti-burst steel backed Carbon Kevlar facings, all applicable bearings, and the appropriate alignment tool.
Moved from the stage 3 to this clutch. The stage 3 6 puck had really bad chatter, this one is smooth as a shot of Glen Livet!
OEM clutch went at 50k, just got this bad boy installed. Clutch feels great I’m still in the break in period so far so good
I am at about 650 miles on the new clutch. There is a tremendous amount of chatter in the gears when i first got into it. It has slowly started to clam down and now I rarely have chatter in 1st and reverse. The clutch is very stiff at first and is now breaking in very nice. I enjoy the clutch so far. And it has been very reliable so far. I am excited to see how it is when i start to really test it.
