The COBB Turbo Inlet V2 will eliminate the factory 'accordion-style' hose that can cause turbulence in the intake tract. Increasing the efficiency of the inlet will reduce stress on the engine as it is able to breathe much easier with a higher-flowing intake path.

Features:

  • 5-Ply Silicone in Stealth Black
  • Larger Diameter Allows for Increased Potential Air Flow Delivery to the Turbo
  • Increase Horsepower, Decrease Turbo Spool Time, Improve Throttle Response and Acceleration
  • Direct OEM Replacement
  • Design for Standard Sized Inlets on the Turbo of 2.4"
  • Difficult Installation Effort
  • Installation Guide
  • Tuning Required

The custom silicone construction of the COBB Turbo Inlet rejects high engine bay temperatures and keeps the intake air closer to ambient temperature. The steel wire reinforced design eliminates the issue of hose collapse that other inlet hoses suffer under vacuum at peak demand yet allows adequate flex between the engine and the intake. The V2 Inlet has been updated to ease installation. It has machined billet aluminum adapters for the Post-MAF hose and BPV return allow for a more secure fit. The change in fittings makes installation cleaner and prevents fittings from protruding into the inlet airway. Lastly, the overall path of the inlet tube has been tweaked to improve fitment around TGV Housings and ease installation.

Inlet V2

Great product, much better than V1. V2 is a little shorter so it doesn’t have the issue pushing into the PS pump. With V1 and stock air box, it forced to fit, I would recommend V2

Great peice.---- DO NOT CUT!

Unfortunately I made the mistake of cutting about an inch off the turbo side while installing this. I did not remove my intake manifold so it was harder to install vs if I had removed it. It seemed like it was a tad too long and then I read a few reviews where people had trimmed them. So that's what did and man was that a mistake... Now I'm stuck with one that does not fit all the way into the turbo.

I definitely recommend taking the time to remove the intake manifold, will save you a lot of headache.

Wouldn't be my first pic

Where to start with this thing.....if your looking to upgrade your inlet stay away from this one. First off it's way too big, you have to cut nearly 2 inches off of it to fit which nowhere is mentioned you'll just have to figure it out yourself after it's finally in and have to keep pulling it in and out until it's the right length. Then hours later when it's finally in you'll realize the bracket for your boost controller is no longer usable as there's not room to stick a hair in. Looks good but for how much guessing and modification is needed to make it fit on a so called "direct fit" part is not worth buying this one in my opinion. If it came not as bulky as it is and was made aware that cutting and how much needed to cut was provided would be 100% better. I am a fan of cobbs products but I think they dropped the ball on this one.
