The flow of air is not only limited to the outside of a car. To maximize cooling capabilities, a radiator needs a direct flow of air to allow an engine to maintain consistent temperatures on the race track. Because of structural gaps above the radiator, the flow of air could escape making the radiator not as efficient as it could be.

I see another review where his fit. Mine has no chance if fitting and using the factory radiator stays, kind of disappointing that i will have to modify it to make it fit, PERRIN fit super good , no drilling or cutting
Fits great, looks great, carbon fiber is gorgeous. I wanted the CF because I have an aluminum radiator and the CF helps from burning my hand when I absent mindedly put my hand down on it when the engine is hot.
I also have the CF alternator cover, so of course they look great together.
Does this thing really help with airflow around the radiator and lower our engine temps? Kinda doubt it, but who are we kidding fellas? It’s engine dress up, and it does do that. And help from burning my hands...
