What you are looking at is a multi-piece shift knob that features a Billet 6061-T6 Aerospace Grade Billet Aluminum top and bottom piece that has gone through a bright dip Type2 anodized finishing process to provide a durable and vibrant finish. The fit and finish are also smooth and seamless from piece to piece for maximum hand comfort., The top features a perfectly recessed area to accept a provided embossed aluminum medallion
This particular knob features Delrin center material and in the nice black finish to blend in with the top and bottom aluminum anodized pieces. Delrin will keep the temperatures down during hot days due to its thermal properties, and provide a nice smooth texture for gripping. The Delrin knob weighs 0.30lbs/135 grams and is the lightest versions of the AutoStyled Shift Knobs.
On the logo or medallion badge, these have been fabricated with aluminum construction with an embossed logo. They have been coated with a scratch resistant coating and feature a black background for an aesthetically pleasing contrast.
