One of the biggest complaints heard from 2015-2016 WRX owners has to do with cracks forming in their OEM plastic turbo inlets from removal, installation or just general wear and tear. As the plastic inlet ages and becomes brittle, it has a tendency to separate around the BPV and/or turbo flange portion of the piece. Since the inlet is one of the most critical components for metered air and consistent performance, cracks or separation can lead to dangerous conditions for the engine. Great Replacement!

I was experiencing a leak due to a crack in my OEM inlet. This was precisely what I needed! This fit perfectly as it mirrors the OEM inlet. It is a little bigger and the aluminum cast brings your mind a peace knowing that this will not crack easily. It fit perfectly and only really took 30 mins to install. Highly recommend if you want to avoid any future cracks to your OEM.
