The Grimmspeed HiFlow Exhaust Manifold Crosspipe is made of 304 Stainless Steel including the flanges, flex, and tubing, and has a pipe-wall thickness of 14 Gauge unlike other pipes. This is the most heavy-duty pipe you will find in the aftermarket. The one-of-a-kind Triple Layer Flex Joint is not located in the bend, which adds to the life expectancy of the flex section.
This unit is built from 1.92" inch 304 Stainless Steel tubing, maximizing exhaust flow from cylinders 1 and 4 to the manifold collector for faster turbo response. The insides of the flanges are cut back to allow the pipe to rest inside the flange which gives you a nice flush mating surface, allowing for optimal flow through the pipe.
This Crosspipe is available in a nice brushed finish, or in the amazing Ceramic Heat Coating which helps keep the heat in and speed up those exhaust gasses even more.
Customer service was excellent. Shipping was very quick. I first ordered wrong part and that was resolved rather quickly. Reordered with a quick ship. It was an easy installation. It's nice upgrade and look.
Got this because I was unsure of ehl or uel. Sometime in the near future I will be upgrading to a killer b. But in the meantime for the price this has done the job! Ceramic is a must! No wrapping needed.
Replaced the older V1 crosspipe I had already with this. The infamous chirping sound is gone. Only minor gripe is that the pipe is not tapered to the inside diameter of the flanges like it was on the V1, so there is indeed a tiny step going in to the pipe. I have the grimmspeed ported headers, so maybe the step is not there when installed with the stock headers.
