Performance Midpipe 3in Subaru WRX 2015-2021 / STI 2015-2018

This midpipe is great. The welds are beautiful and the top-notch quality is what people have come to expect from nameless. I had heard horror stories about the install, but it was not bad at all and no leaks so far. Its paired with the 5" muffler axle-backs and I have the gen 1 cobb catted and resonated j-pipe, so the sound is really mellow until I go WOT. Lots of pops and crackles when downshifting/engine braking and possibly a fireball or two between gears when I am accelerating.

Very loud, sounds good, good back fire with downpipe. With a muffler delete it’s almost too much. A little bit of drone but for me it’s worth it.

WOW. All I can say is WOW. So I have a 2018 STi, and I was driving around for a while with just the Nameless muffler deletes. I ordered the midpipe because of mainly the claimed power gains without a tune. I was not expecting a whole lot of difference in sound. But after throwing it on yesterday, I was shocked at the difference in sound. It sounds NASTY. Sounds like a completely different car now. You’re gonna get a more poppy sound at idle. Under throttle it sounds like a complete animal. Every gear shift is going to give you more pops and bangs. You will let out more spool noise. And my butt-dyno confirms the claimed power gains. This to me is now a must have for anyone with just the deletes. Do yourself a favor, and complete your catback. IIR was super cool as well. I ordered this when it was out of stock, and they hit me up and asked if I was cool with waiting, or if I just wanted a refund. I told them I was okay with waiting. It arrived as soon as they had it in stock. As far as the install goes, if you can get a helper, get one. If not you’ll be okay, just be prepared to struggle like crazy trying to hold stuff with your forehead and toes. And make sure you get the twist right when installing the resonated part, as it will rub on your driveshaft if you don’t twist it properly. Those V bands can be a bit of a headache as well. But once you get it on? Absolutely worth it. Trust me, get the midpipe if you already have deletes.
