Perrin Red 3in Turbo Inlet Hose w/ Nozzle Subaru WRX 2015-2021 | PSP-INT-424RD

This was a great purchase, but it was fairly difficult installing. You do need to make a cut on the hose itself if you are running an aftermarket intake. I cut mine a little too much but was able to add a little pipe piece to connect the hose to my intake. This took some time to install but I recommend being patient and measuring your cut multiple times. The connectors for the evap hoses was a little challenging to put on, but overall it worked great! I did get a replacement to this, but if you do it correctly, you will be just fine.

After reading the reviews I wasn't too sure about having to cut the Perrin inlet almost in half since I have a Cobb SF intake. In the end it all worked out. Install is not for beginners but if you can follow the directions and ONLY cut what you need, you'll be just fine. Perrin provides everything you'll need, including detailed instructions. Although the band clamp the goes around the flange is a joke.... GET A BETTER ONE! You'll thank me later. All in all I am happy with the product, and I'm never disappointed in IIR. Best prices and shipping speed hands down. No photos this time, install took enough of my day off from the weekly grind. Get rid of that stock inlet, it is a leaky piece of plastic crap.

I bought this Perrin Turbo Inlet to go along with my Grimmspeed BPV, install was fun, everything fit together nicely and it’s definitely an upgrade from the OEM plastic inlet. IIR’s customer support is fantastic, I needed the inlet within 2 days and they got it to me the next day, these guys are my go to for any parts for my WRX.

This product was relatively difficult to install and I had to cut the pipe basically in half to fit my aftermarket intake. I wish I could’ve just bought a shortened pipe for half the price. One of the hose claps didn’t fit so I had to go get my own. Overall it was a daunting task that I probably didn’t need to do but in the end is most likely worth it. I don’t loose boost as easily as I did with the OEM inlet pipe at top end pulls.

Felt the difference right away! My DAM went back up and has not dropped since. It even makes my car sound like if it had a bov. Will buy again!

It sounds good with the stock intake, but with a BPV, CAI, and EBCS it sounds godly. Makes the turbo sound much louder and seems to help it spool a little better. If you’re installing a CAI you’ll have to cut the Inlet tube almost in half, but it’s not too bad. If you’re running a GS EBCS you can get away with just ziptieing the controller to the inlet, but if you have something like a Company23 EBCS you’ll have to mount it to the frame and run longer hoses.

Absolutely essential if you have a Cobb bpv. The 90-degree fitting did not fit with the OEM inlet but worked perfectly with the Perrin inlet.

I was having DAM issues and AFR issues for the longest time and couldn't figure out why. Turns out my factory turbo inlet had a crack in it. Not the first time I've heard about that happening luckily I had already purchased this and I have to say not only do you get better throttle response but the sound is amazing!

Worth the expense. Larger Mouth, great add-on for My FB BLUE XR Turbo. Fits more secure and snug. Added Noise a Plus. Thanks guys!
