SPT (Subaru Performance Tuning) vs. Standard:
Standard axleback exhausts have rounded rhombus shaped attachment points with 2 holes while SPT systems have a triangular shaped flange with 3 holes, as shown in the image below.

These things are absolutely amazing. Super easy install for anyone. They look incredible. The fit is perfect. The new tone it brings. Those that say there’s no rumble for the VA, I’d have to disagree. It most certainly has its own rumble at idle. No picture or video out there does justice. 5/5.

Decent, almost matches a vid I watched
Hard to find videos on this that are stock WRXs, most sound better probably due to mods. For what it is price wise, would of liked pops or anything. Sound is more like a tuner car with a can on it but at least I can tell when Im pressing the gas pedal now. Obv louder than stock exhaust but dont expect more.

Loud, sleek but not obnoxious
These pipes were exactly what I was looking for. They give the STI more character with its deep rumble sound and its matte black finish but also don’t pissoff the neighbors when you have to start your car at 6am. Highly recommend if you’re looking for that middle ground.
