Like the other guy said, didn’t add anything to the exhaust note. I had the. Remark 4” deletes, then added the resonated pipe on my 17 STi. No sound change. Wish I went with the non-resonated version. Oh well. I’ll get the res chopped off at a muffler shop and it’ll be good.
Unsure what the point of this is, if you already have an axleback from Remark - I wouldnt bother upgrading to this as the sound if muffled and doesnt sound as aggressive with just the axleback. It is a quality part for sure but I wish it had more of an exhaust note rather than a muted one. So yea, if you want a exhaust note difference, go with another catback system imo.
If that is your thing, it does bolt up directly to a Grimmspeed Jpipe - all bolts and gaskets provided. Packaging was iffy but nothing was damaged. Welds are nice, no issues with the physical side of the product.
Yet again another top quality mid pipe from Remark. Install couldn't have been any easier. Reduced drone at highway speeds.
Sounds great with the Remark 4" muffler deletes
I got the Remark resonated midpipe along with the Remark muffler delete and the combo was perfect for my stock '20 STI. The system's tone has a lot of bass opposed to it being more high-pitch like a Tomei and bass is what I wanted. Drone is little to none with the resonator so dailying it 50 miles round-trip to work is still enjoyable. Cold starts are loud for the first 20 seconds but barrable enough for my neighbors to not complain for over a month now. Install was easy and shipping was less than a week. Overall very satisfied.
