We've had headaches trying to source quality muffler deletes/axle backs for years, from manufacturer's having stock issues, to back orders and quality issues, SubieDepot decided to fabricate and manufacture, high quality, high performance Muffler Deletes, Axle Backs and exhaust components, in house, at SubieDepot.
The axle backs are fabricated using high quality USA 304 Stainless Steel, with thick 1/2" 304 Stainless Steel flanges. The tips are high quality hand built tips that give the muffler delete amazing looks, and performance. Do not settle for lesser quality 430 or 409 Stainless Steels used by other brands. The piping is 3" mandrel bend, then followed by a cast SS304 Y-collector, perfectly TIG welded by professional welders and crafters. We at SubieDepot do not and will not settle for anything but perfection.

Ordered it and waited for it for over a month, when I got it, turns out it doesn’t even fit. It looks super cool though just kinda disappointed that I can’t use it.
I bought this and had it installed on my 2013 Impreza hatchback and it sounds and looks incredible. Came packed nicely and the welds are incredible. Great craftmanship put into this exhaust. The sound is almost perfect, I am ordering the midpipe next that matches. I would highly recommend this exhaust, A++ for sure.

My daughter bought the burnt tip exhaust for her brothers car. He has a wide body Subaru hatchback. The first exhaust she ordered was for a sedan and would not fit. Import Image Racing was so helpful in arranging the return and getting us the correct part.
We purchased the burnt tip 5 inch muffler kit. The kit came with everything needed to install the kit. We have a car lift so working on the exhaust was easy to get access. The removal of the OEM muffler was the only problem as the header pipe bolts were rusted on and required 1 to be cut off. Once unbolted the muffler came out easy. The new Burt tip exhaust installed back into the original location Perfectly. The furnished gasket and new bolts made the job easy. From the time the old muffler was removed until the new exhaust was installed was less that 30 minutes.
The sound of the new exhaust makes my son very happy. As a parent we know when he is leaving home and returning home by the sound of the exhaust. I think the 5 inch muffler was just the right size to make everyone happy.
