Features:

The SP Performance Cross Drilled and Slotted Brake Rotors are at the top of the list for performance rotors. These drilled and slotted rotors give the advantages of both drilled holes for cooling efficiency and the slots to expel gasses and brake dust. By eliminating the sharp edges on their cross-drilled holes, it greatly reduces the chance of cracking by moving the air and brake dust from the disc brake surface while reducing the surface temperature. This allows to keep the surface temperature down, nearly eliminating heat checking and warping. These SP Performance rotors are manufactured to OEM specifications, machine-balanced and come silver ZRC-Coated for rust prevention.

  • Front brake rotors
  • Silver ZRC Rust Preventative Zinc Coating
  • Holes are machined with their exclusive Sinusoid Curve Chamfer to promote cooling, minimize stress, and maximize both rotor and pad life
  • Directional Curved Slots help increase brake pad bite, improve air circulation and cooling, and vent gases
  • Slots also help to reduce brake fade, stop brake hydroplaning in wet weather, and reduce stopping distances
  • Corrosion resistant finish provides a clean look behind your wheels while preventing rust, corrosion and oxidation
  • Designed with the use of CAD software and produced on CNC machines to ensure the highest quality and consistent performance
  • Sold as a pair

Note: Drilled and slotted rotors are not recommended for track use due to the abuse they will take. The drilled holes in the rotors will be prone to stress-cracking. The combination of the drilled and slotted pattern does work great with heavier vehicles, especially vehicles that will be towing heavy loads. Since heavier vehicles create more heat in the braking system, the drilled and slotted rotors will help provide the best stopping power by keeping the rotors and pads the coolest.

Coating will wear off the rotor where the brake pads make contact. There is a break-in period that must be followed to ensure correct brake performance. Refer to your instruction sheet for the proper break-in procedure.
