The slots on the brake rotor surface are used to expel the brake dust away from the braking surface and wheels, keeping the surface cooler. These SP Performance Brake rotors are machine-balanced, disc grinded, and meet OEM specifications. These rotors are direct replacements to the factory brake rotors and require no brake system modifications.
