Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.
It is recommended that the surface of the trim be cleaned thoroughly and left wet. Also wet the back of the overlay before applying. Use soap / water mixture. This allows the material to be positioned correctly. Use your fingers to apply and stretch the material into the correct position. Use of a hair dryer is recommended as this can encourage adhesion and allow the material to contour to any curves better (especially around the side).
Really simple to apply. Just used soap and water to place it, used a heat gun on low heat to heat up the vinyl and dissipate the water mixture and used a credit card to remove all the bubbles. Applied great and looks like a great product. I had a faded black scoop like most do and this covered it up well. It's a great in between before I go cf hood.
