The band is crimped or clamped over the CV boot to create a secure seal. Installation requires basic hand tools and is typically within the scope of an intermediate DIY mechanic; however, professional installation is recommended to ensure correct tension and a leak-free seal. Always inspect the boot and joint grease condition when replacing the band.\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Subaru OEM","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":43159533420640,"sku":"sub23242GA400","price":9.68,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/1398\/9853\/files\/a_20160829_1214170965.jpg?v=1791307252","url":"https:\/\/www.importimageracing.com\/products\/subaru-oem-cv-boot-band-23242ga400","provider":"Import Image Racing","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
