This job requires draining the existing fuel supply, safely supporting the vehicle, disconnecting fuel lines and the sending unit, and removing the tank straps. Due to the complexity and safety considerations involved in fuel system work, professional installation by a qualified automotive technician or authorized Subaru dealer is strongly recommended.
