The paint behind or under your door handles is one of the most scratched up-areas of your paint. Often people will have their key fobs attached to the rest of the keys, and when quickly trying to get into the car from the grocery store or gas station, you will grab the door handle with the keys still in your hand. The keys, fob, or other sharp objects will scratch the surface behind the handle. The TRD Door Handle Protectors can simply install by cleaning the surface then sticking them on, to protect the paint while adding a subtle customized look. An easy solution to keep this area protected on your GR86.

At first I was worried that they wouldn't want to sit flush against the curvature of the door cup on my GR Corolla, but with soapy water, some heat from a hair dryer, and patience, they turned out awesome.
Straight forward and easy to install. To help with placement, I sprayed a little spritz of water with a drop of dish washing detergent mixed in to help slip the door cup protecter behind the handle. With the extra bit of slip from the solution, I was able to get the protector centered, and was able to squeeze out any air bubbles. Once installed and solution dried, it stuck like the Hulk gripping iron, and protects from any long nails or key scratches.
