The R35 Nissan GT-R already comes with great diffuser from the factory, but it is far from optimized. We set out to improve downforce production by adding vertical fences, called strakes. Using ANSYS Adjoint solver and CFD, we were able to extract an additional 13% of downforce compared to the OE vehicle with minimal drag increase. These are perfect for mile, half mile, quarter mile, and track guys. Not only do they look great as they are produced from 100% carbon fiber, they also function extremely well.
