Packaged very nice and snug.Iam a welder and these welds are perfect.you can tell its made in the USA,GS always has high quality products.only thing is mine didnt come with the splitter that goes on the intercooler.the hood scoop splitter and all the gaskets came,even the gasket for the missing splitter was in the box.Confused if its now sold seperate?

I got dyno tuned about a year ago and knew if I was going to keep digging into boost like I had been this winter through summer I was going to need to upgrade my intercooler. I did the entire install in my apartment parking lot in about 2 hours, some basic tools, pop clip pry tool and a few how to videos is all you need. The stock piping took quite a bit of convincing to get off, and the stock charge pipe was a bit of a challenge to get back on. Feel underneath for the gasket and make sure it doesn’t get rolled into the charge pipe and eventually everything will fit back up nicely. Once everything was secured started her up and went for a gentle drive to let the car learn the new IC. Next day started pulling some boost, obviously without a retune I’m not going to see any real noteworthy gains besides less power loss from heat soak. But the turbo does feel like it spools more freely. Also IIR is the best seller for aftermarket parts, love how quick their deliveries are. Anyway, in my opinion grimmspeed is the best in the biz and they don’t just build aftermarket parts they build works of art that you know you can trust to be the best of the best.

Installed this on my 15 wrx. Install was a breeze just take your time and it’ll go in easily. Might want to buy some extra pop clips for the insulation of the hood. You’ll be needing to replace the wind tunnel under the hood with a GS version. My clips were so brittle they mostly broke. Auto parts store should have em otherwise Subaru oem @ 2.50$ a clip haha

It does really bring the engine bay together. I have the gs charge pipe as well. Looks amazing. #brokeboys #fmicsomeday

Easy install and quick

Absolutely love this TMIC. 1000000x better than the stock one. Paired this with the GS charge pipe and air intake - it felt like a whole different car! Definitely the best TMIC on the market.

The best efficiency upgrade you can do to your WRX. So much better than the stock TMIC.

This intercooler will reduce your intake temperatures and the heat saturation significantly compared to the OEM intercooler. Heat saturation is one of the biggest causes for feedback knock so I believe this is one of the most important efficiency upgrades you can do for a turbo charged engine, especially if you plan to extract a little more power out of your engine.
