the install was super easy except for about 5 min where I went braindead and was trying to put the left side in the right 😆 . I love that if I'm just checking fluid (which you probably do often driving a wrx) the hood holds itself halfway just like Judaism the prop but it's not there!

and straight up position makes working on anything in the rear of the bay so much easier... this is a fantastic upgrade .

These are great! No hood prop in the way when in the engine bay. I put these in the day before I swapped my exhaust headers and they deff paid for themselves by how helpful they are. Also love to open my hood after all drives and now its satisfying to just open and forget.

Easy install and great upgrade to make. Little touches like this go a long way.

I honestly was not expecting to love these as much as I do. The increased visibility under the hood makes a huge difference if working on the car. No more asking my wife to hold the hood up for me when i need extra clearance. Also the engine bay looks much cleaner without the prop rod in there.

These hood struts must be my favorite non performance modification to my GD/GG. They make working on my sad constantly broken car so much less unpleasant. My friends are always jealous when my hood opens straight up. very rad would recommend 10/10

Because this is a fair trade for a cool product and I’m pleased with them. The day I got these I popped em on in under 30 minutes and was instantly amazed at the extra room I had to do the other mods I had to do at the time (GFB adjustable bro off valve and Vems cyl 4 coolant mod). You have to be conscious to not use them to steady yourself when you’re digging around in the engine bay. They are quality struts but probably can’t take the full weight of a person leaning on one. If you’ve got money to burn on a useful and yet unnecessary mod, here you go

Very easy and straightforward install. I love the added room they give to work under the hood. No more ugly hood prop getting in your way. Also theyll hold the hood up at just about any angle and almost straight up when fully opened

I just finished a FULL build- built motor, brand new bolt ons, I'll spare you from the parts list. To my dismay, this is the part that gets the most attention lol. It really changes the experience of popping the hood. It springs up to meet the release lever, makes the satisfying "whoosh" noise you're familiar with, and gives you peace of mind while wrenching.
