This Radium Engineering master cylinder brace is compatible with the left hand drive (LHD) 2015+ Subaru WRX, 2015+ Subaru WRX STi, and 2014+ Forester XT. The 6061 billet aluminum brace reduces firewall flex for a more positive pedal feel. It mounts to pre-existing threaded holes in the engine bay and requires no permanent vehicle modification.
Because the master cylinder flexes in an arcuate path, a specially designed CNC machined foot contacts the master cylinder to counteract the arc movement. Preload is adjusted with the anodized aluminum green bolt then locked in place with the jam nut. Installation is simple and takes around 30 minutes.
This master cylinder brace also provides the mounting location for the Radium Air/Oil Separator Kit.
The radium brace is probably the best brake brace out there. I love that it uses a corner post to prevent pitching of the cylinder rather than a straight flat stop. I have the dual catch cans from Radium as well, they make some high end parts.

Stiffened up the brake pedal a decent amount and a little more responsive know. Quick shipping and a quick easy install I would definitely recommend!
Install was super easy, the product has sleek design and does exactly what it's supposed to do, stop movement in firewall during hard braking. Bonus feature is it's designed to hold their catch can so it has these mounting holes on the flat side of it which I don't have. I have a IAG AOS so now I have a spot to mount other things as I keep modifying my car. also, even for the cheapest shipping, I ended up getting it within three or four days after I ordered it to my house.
Simple install. Can definitely tell the difference but it doesn’t really help as much with braking feel as I thought it would. But still got rid of the springy feel completely
easy to install and makes a big difference in brake feel.
This is a solid built piece and install was easy . Make sure to blow out the 3 holes where the brace mounts to the strut tower/inner fender , and use loctite on the threads . Once it's mounted just run the bolt down to the mount on the master cylinder , give it a little preload , and then tighten up the jam nut . I had a though about buying a 3/4"-1" longer ss bolt and using a jam nut on both sides ,but that is probably overkill . The brake pedal is noticeably stiffer , and I know it's not a placebo effect because I had a couple other people drive my car ( who both drive 20/21 WRX'S ) without knowing about the Radium M.C brace install , and they both affirmed that the brakes are "stiffer" .
