The quality of these GSC valve springs reminded me of my Suzuki GSXR 1000 valve springs. These look extremely top-notch & the clamping force to get the retainers in is absolutely crazy heavy. if you're building your short block do not forget to get these for your heads. Also noted if you do purchase these the valve installer/remover tool that you can typically use on the STI does not install the retainers on this new FA engine. You will need a valve spring compressor what's a good window. As you can see in the picture the valve stem sticks up quite a bit.
