Manley Subaru pistons are made from high strength 2618 material and manufactured to provide DROP-IN installation and correspond to the OEM Grade Range A or B bore sizes. To order these pistons simply select the appropriate mix of grade range pistons for the engine block's requirements. The proper clearance is designed into each grade range. These pistons come standard with Premium Chrome Moly 0.180" wall pins suitable for moderate boost.
Included with these pistons are a set of Total Seal piston rings. The top ring is an AP steel configuration; the second is a Napier profile to assist in oil control.
NOTE: These pistons come standard with Premium Chrome Moly 0.180" wall pins suitable for moderate boost. It is highly recommended that 9310 alloy 0.210" wall wrist pins part no. 42546 be installed in high boost engines.
Drop in parts, extremely high quality and little to no noise compared to other stock bore drop in pistons. Probably not where your going to want to go if your looking north of 450whp, but great under that. Total seal rings make for a very complete and high quality piston/ring kit.
