K&N's new Typhoon intake system for the Civic Si allows your engine to breathe easier and helps minimize restriction for more power and acceleration while it provides outstanding engine protection through the use of K&N's high flow, oiled cotton gauze air filter, and streamlined intake tube.
The air intake is designed with a heat shield, which isolates the air filter from warm air that surrounds the engine, and drives cooler air to the filter through a connection hose that attaches to the factory fresh air intake tube.
K&N's Typhoon air intake system provides an estimated gain of 10.5 horsepower at 5,200rpm and 9.2 lb-ft. of torque at 3,600 rpm!
The air intake system is also very simple to install, requires only minor hand tools and should take roughly 90 minutes. Additionally, this air intake will not void the factory warranty and it is covered with K&N's Million Mile Limited Warranty.
