Cusco Front Strut Tower Bar Type OS Subaru WRX / STI 2015-2021 | 6A1 540 A

Ordered this Cusco front strut bar recently from IIR to match the Cusco rear strut bar I picked up a year ago. Yes, I got the rear bar first, but now, I have Cusco strut bars in the front and rear; yay me. In any case, this front bar fit in the spot nice and snug with just enough wiggle room for easy installation. Such a same this nice looking bar will only be seen when the hood is up. Kudos to IIR for getting the bar to me in the shipping time promised. Note to self: Winter might not be the best time to test out the strut bar's effectiveness, so initial impressions on performance are still to be discovered.

This is my first Cusco product purchase for my 2020 WRX STI. What a great piece of art. Hard to ever go wrong with Japanese products. Most importantly, it clears the IAG AOS with zero issues. As expected from any Cusco product, fit and fitment is great. High quality strut bar and fits over the top of a large upgraded ETS intercooler. Only negative imo is the polished finished. I wish it was all Cusco blue. Ended up wrapping it gloss black to fix. Definitely made a noticeable difference in chassis stiffness.

Wish I would have started with this bar. I originally chose the Perrin bar in part because of the color over this one. As my build progressed the Perrin bar won’t fit well with my aftermarket intercooler (it slaps it when the motor vibrates) or my IAG AOS. Fortunately this one fits perfectly! I did powder coat it satin black to match my engine bay better. As for the handling seems good , hard to tell a difference over the Perrin bar.

So I upgraded the top mount intercooler with an ETS one while having a Beatrush strut bar and had so clearance issues. The bar was touching the intercooler so I ordered the Cusco tower bar with out knowing if it would work and enough it cleared the ETS Intercooler with no issues. So I’m a happy camper 😀
