Because the Mazdaspeed intake was designed and manufactured by AEM, this is a direct drop-in part, no modification or fabrication necessary. The AEM air-straightener fits between the MAF housing and lower filter piping and installs in just a few minutes. This part will not work for other makes or models of aftermarket intake systems.
