2004-2011 Mazda RX-8
Note: Flywheel requires counterweight (flywheel and counterweight sold separately or with flywheel kit). Must use ACT counterweight with ACT flywheel.
ACT's ZM8-HDSS kit features a sprung, performance street clutch disc paired with their ever popular Heavy Duty pressure plate. What does this mean for you? Well, that means that you will have a light to moderate pedal effort with a smooth engagement and the ability to handle up to 3300ft/lbs of torque on your RX-8. This clutch kit is best suited for street and race use.
ACT Heavy Duty pressure plates use exclusive diaphragm design to increase clamp load, reduce deflection and maximize clutch life. All diaphragms endure a four-stage, heat-treating process for unparalleled performance. ACT pressure plates have precision cover stampings to provide rigidity and consistency. ACT's Performance Street discs feature premium organic materials with high copper content for better heat transfer and steel-backed lining for greater burst strength and durability. These discs have reduced marcel for faster shift action to complement ACT pressure plates, with increased strength and reliability.
