This intake features a 7.5-inch tall, 360-degree conical Pro DRY S performance air filter with three layers of oil-free synthetic media. The progressive layering maximizes filtration efficiency and dust-holding capacity without requiring oil, making maintenance simple and mess-free.
A two-piece, computer-designed intake tube is precision roto-molded from durable XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene). This heat-resistant material minimizes heat soak while ensuring long-lasting durability. An integrated factory-style Helmholtz chamber helps eliminate unwanted intake drone for a refined driving experience.
The rugged XLPE polymer housing is fully sealed to protect against engine heat and external elements. A clear sight window allows quick visual inspection of the filter without disassembly. aFe POWER’s patent-pending filter-to-housing interface reduces parts count and simplifies installation. The system uses the factory air inlet and includes an optional auxiliary inlet for additional airflow.
This intake installs easily using factory mounting locations. All required stainless-steel clamps, silicone couplings, and hardware are included. No cutting or drilling of OEM components is required.
