When this happens, the factory pickup can draw in air instead of oil—causing aeration, reduced line pressure, missed shifts, and clutch slippage that can quickly damage the expensive GR6 transmission.
The Alpha R35 GT-R Deep Transmission Pan & Pickup Relocation Kit addresses fluid starvation by relocating the transmission pickup to the rear of the pan—right where fluid moves under hard acceleration. This ensures a more consistent oil supply when you need it most.
The included high-capacity deep pan also increases transmission fluid capacity by approximately 2 quarts (~1.9 liters). This added volume not only helps reduce starvation risk but also improves overall thermal capacity, supporting better temperature stability during track use or high-performance street driving.
