I went with this product first over the complete short shifter kit. This gave me exactly what I wanted. It’s shorter, very notchy, and direct. I love it. The installation was a little difficult with the roll pin, so be prepared.
Haven't had it installed yet, appointment is a couple weeks away still. It's definitely well made and beefy. Pairing with brass bushing (billetworkz), OEM STI short throw shifter, billetworkz weighted shift knob and shifter stop. Doing trans and diff fluid motul. Will update review after installation!

I went this product first over the complete kit or short shifter, this gave me exactly what I wanted. It’s shorter, VERY notchy and direct. Love it. Install was a little difficult with the roll pin so be prepared.
This made all the difference in the world. Shifts are crisp and confident. Coupled with the shift stop, bushing and short shifter. The car shift like a dream.
This is what you are replacing when you put this bad boy on incase you were wondering but I do enjoy the way it helps make the shifts smoother

Bought this along with the Billetworkz brass shifter bushings . Happy how shorter the throw is now. Great product fast shipping. I didn’t get any pictures since I didn’t have the car on lift just jack stands.
Definitely a difference that you can feel when holding and comparing this to the stock part. I’m not going to say that the install was easy, but it was manageable. Just be sure to get you a 3/16 punch that is straight and has some length. While a lift is recommended, I did this on my back. You might want to take something for your nerves before hand if you are claustrophobic though. I recommend rhino ramps if you are going the lying down route.
Shortens the throw and when combined with a short throw shifter, it changes the whole feel of the car (for the best). Recommend doing it with the bushing paired as it’s all in the same area. Get your, white lithium grease ready lol
