Cobb's double adjustable short shifter gives you the ability to control both the height of the shift knob as well as the length of the shifter throw. This shifter is designed using CAD technology, the COBB Black anodized billet shifter body is CNC machined from 6061 Aluminum. Steel socket head screws are set in a counter bore for a flush mount and provide clamping force to firmly hold the upper and lower slider shafts in place. This design allows easy independent adjustment of shift knob height and shifter throw length, while being strong enough to stand up to rowing through the gears with extreme enthusiasm.
Shifter is a pretty easy install, if this was all I was installing it would have taken about an hour. Makes driving my STI enjoyable again
Pretty easy to install, however it can be tricky with the reverse cable.
It was an easy and straightforward install. The ability to not only adjust the throw but also the height allowed for the perfect fit. Just note that if you drop the height you will have to tie back the reverse cable to get it away from the drive shaft.
Received Cobb short shifter with the help of Dane and it was perfect. Came with all necessary items to install fit perfectly with almost no modification needed and feels amazing. Can adjust the short shifter quite a bit to your own comfortable setting highly recommend
