The Tumble Generator Valves (TGV) in modern Subarus have a tendency to develop a leak on the end opposite of the motor/sensor over time. In the past, addressing this leak was tedious and costly. The COBB TGV Shaft Seal kit for Subaru EJ engines provides an inexpensive solution that can be tackled in your own garage!
This kit consists of two billet aluminum plates that have been anodized black. A COBB logo is then laser etched on the end of each. Two o-rings, one for each plate, provide a quality seal to the TGV's housing. These install into the end of the TGV housing that is opposite of the combined sensor/motor on late model Subaru EJ powered vehicles.
