As the saying goes, you're only as good as you're weakest link. Upgrading the rear sway bar and end links can create added stress on the factory sway bar mount. This bracing helps to triangulate and add strength to the lower mounting point of the sway bar mount.
These COBB powder coated braces mount between the lower tab of the rear sway bar bushing mount and the rear inner lower control arm bolts. This provides added rigidity to the factory sway bar mount which is prone to cracking, especially with an upgraded sway bar.
Overall great quality. easy install. Small but noticeable gain.
I do t know how necessary these are but installing them was easy. With how stiff the rear bar is now I can see how these could be helpful
