Eagle Crankshafts are made of 4340 steel and go through a multi-stage heat treatment and use non-twist forging. They are stress-relieved, shot-peened, x-rayed, magnafluxed, and sonic tested. The crankshafts are cross-drilled and have chamfered oil holes for improved oiling. The journals are precision-ground and micro-polished to under 5 RA.
