CT5 POWERSPORT Charging Technology

The CT5 POWERSPORT uses dedicated charging programs for different battery chemistries:

Normal Mode
Optimized for conventional 12V lead-acid batteries, including AGM.

Lithium Mode
Designed specifically for compatible 12V LiFePO₄ lithium batteries.

Recond Mode
Provides a reconditioning cycle for compatible deeply discharged lead-acid batteries.

Once charging is complete, the charger automatically transitions into maintenance charging, making it well suited to motorcycles and other powersports vehicles that spend extended periods in storage.

Battery Status at a Glance

The included INDICATOR PANEL 3.3M can be permanently installed in an accessible location while remaining connected to the battery. Its LED traffic-light system lets you check battery status without accessing the battery itself.

• Red: Below 12.4V – charge the battery
• Yellow: 12.4–12.65V – consider charging
• Green: Above 12.65V – charging generally isn't required

The 3.3 m cable provides plenty of length for mounting the indicator in a convenient location.

Extended Charging Access

The included CONNECT 2.5M Extension Cable provides an additional 2.5 m of reach between the charger and CTEK accessory connection. This is particularly useful when the battery is located inside a compartment, under a seat, or otherwise difficult to reach.
