What is a ProTune?
A protune is a specialized tuning service offered by Import Image Racing in conjunction with CT Tuning, designed to optimize performance and enhance driving capabilities with your stock or modified vehicle. It is a software modification that adjusts various parameters within the engine control module, to deliver improved power, responsiveness, and overall driving experience.
The primary objective is to unleash the full potential of the engine while maintaining reliability and durability. This process involves modifying parameters such as fuel and ignition timing, boost pressure, air-to-fuel ratios, and other variables that influence the engine's operation.
Furthermore, a protune can help maximize fuel efficiency. Although the focus is primarily on performance gains, the tuning process takes into account the vehicle's fuel economy, ensuring that the modifications do not excessively compromise fuel efficiency.
This map is for ONE fuel type such as Pump 91 OR 93 gas, Race fuel OR E85.
ATTENTION: You are purchasing a Cobb Protuning map/file ONLY. Your car must be running correctly prior to installing aftermarket parts and this MAP. If your car has mechanical problems, you are not entitled to a refund. All parts listed when you purchase the MAP are the parts that the tune is for. There is no adding additional parts once the tuning starts.

Once CT Tuning receives this information and creates the file, they will provide you with your custom protune map, instructions, and walk you through the process of loading the ecu map and fine tuning based on data logs.
Please note: COBB Accessports are available to purchase separately and are vehicle-specific. Certain markets and transmissions are not currently supported and will cause an error. Both the custom protune and accessport must be for the same vehicle. Make sure that your vehicle is supported prior to purchasing this service.
Great Map overall, the tuning process with Cobb was a breeze. My car is driving great and pushing 330 whp with peak boost at 21 psi. Definitely satisfied with my stage 1 outcome.
Easy process for great power. 340/370 on intake, top mount, cat back, turbo inlet, and charge pipe. Also very high altitude and very hot when tuned

Got this in the ets/ap pack and it's a great buy. The increase in power between boost being higher and the custom map is very very nice makes what feels a little boring of a "sports car" much more aggressive. Even if you just got a custom map on stock car i'd bet youd feel a good difference in strength the car has

Added this with my Cobb AP tune, and working with CT was a great experience making the entire process simple. He provides very detailed instructions on exactly what logs you need to do and is also very responsive and easy to work with. 339whp on 91, and 354whp on 93. Very affordable compared to dyno tuning.

Not completely done with the tune but it has been going really well. Car is performing better and better each step of the way. Clark is very responsive and plenty of instruction to get the job done. Just be safe and responsible out there when doing your data logging. I feel this process of me being more involved with the process helps me understand more about the vehicle. Kind of like getting the proper formula for your baby lol
He gave very clear instructions and was more than willing to help in any way through the process. I live at high altitude which can be very challenging for tuners, but Clark was able to pull some really impressive numbers out of my vehicle for only having an intake. The car feels amazing to drive now. I will definitely be going back in the future.
