Also known as a 'drift button' this knob replaces the factory handbrake knob and allows for free action of the handbrake. You can still use the handbrake by pulling the lever in to place and pushing up on the knob to lock it there.
I know some of us like the drift parking brake idea and it can work for that , but I got this purely to help go with the blue accents in my otherwise stripped interior. It was easy to install and is machined perfectly. Nice little upgrade and another very high quality piece from Cusco.

The button fits my 2022 WRX. With the spring it functions just like the regular button. Without the spring it won’t lock when pulled unless you push forward on it while pulling the handbrake.
This is a nice touch and it goes well with my neptune blue GR86. LOVE IT!!!
I reached out to IIR and asked if this fit my 21’ STi and they said it should so I bought it… and it fits like a glove! I love it so much more than oem. Little things like this can go a long way!
Super clean, leave the stock spring if you want to continue to use the ebrake like normal. Take your time install and don’t over tighten it.
