Not a bad product. Its sturdy and was easy to install. I only wish it had the option for the wire to run through the defroster.

Pretty easy to install and definitely puts the AP in a very prime position to view and datalog.

If you want something else other than a vent mount or pillar mount, this is the way to go. It holds the accessport nicely and has never gave me any issues. The install was a bit tricky but watching a few youtube videos definitely helped out.

The mounting method and location are near perfect and I will be using this mount for the life of the car. Great product.

There is a bit of room for improvement though:

1) It's a bit wobbly all of the time and could use some investment in making it stiffer. It may be that the arm needs to be built thicker with less void or the T mount could hold a bit more snug. It doesn't really bother me, but it could definitely be improved.

2) The in dash portion doesn't actually interface with the upper dash vent duct like the factory unit does. This could easily be remedied and would make it significantly more effective when defrosting (I guess the dash will just get warm and radiate the heat a bit on a cold morning).

3) It'd be nice to have a pass through for the cable(s) molded in that is easy to trim out. I make a notch in the side to route the OBD cable as well as a USB cable for when I'm data-logging with my laptop.
