Please note: The OEM brake pads along with some OE pads will need to be modified before the installation of these rotors in order to clear the hat hardware. This modification is necessary to accommodate the hardware arrangement of GiroDisc's two-piece discs and still retain the OEM parking brake. It simply requires the backing plate of the brake pad to be ground down to match the arc of the pad material. A disclaimer and instructions for this modification are also included with the purchase of these rotors.

The Girodisc Slotted Rear Brake Rotors have been designed as direct replacements of the factory units but with high performance in mind. Made out of U.S.-sourced 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum and their own proprietary cast iron, each rotor has curved directional vanes that act as a centrifugal pump to force cooling air through the disc.

Girodisc's rotor and hat floating mount system utilizes 10 high-strength alloy steel drive pins secured by grade 12.9 cap screws and hardened washers that allow for axial and radial float between the hat and disc while self-centering the rotors between the pads. Anti-noise spring washers allow the rotors to expand with heat while eliminating the rattle associated with floating rotors.
