Important Notes:
Some Subaru OEM oil pans include an internal oil screen that may interfere with longer drain plugs. During an oil change, inspect the drain plug opening with a flashlight to verify adequate clearance before installation.
Subaru used multiple drain plug sizes on certain models beginning around late 2010. If your factory drain plug uses a 14mm wrench, your vehicle typically requires the M16 x 1.5 drain plug.
